Raised in Sitka Sara’s great-grandparents immigrated to Ketchikan, and her family has proudly called Alaska home for four generations. Now living in Juneau, she feels fortunate to be raising the fifth generation in the place she loves most and continuing her family’s legacy of stewardship and love for the land. After a 15-year break, her passion for the region brought her back to work with SEC, where she channels her commitment to community and family into everything she does. An avid outdoorswoman, you may see her and her three labrador retrievers hiking trails or combing beaches. Sara’s enduring commitment to her community and the natural beauty of the region continues to shape her personal and professional journey.
